Stand in front of a large mirror wearing a non-padded bra. Wrap a soft measuring tape around your back at band level, under each arm and around the front. Measure just above your bust, right about where the straps meet the top of the cup. Enter this number in the Band Size box below.

Keeping the tape around your back at band level, measure at the fullest part of your bust. Make sure the tape isn't too tight by taking a full breath in and out, allowing the tape to slide to its most comfortable (yet snug) position. Enter this number in the Bust Size box above.

How should my bra fit?

Each and every time you wear a bra, you should be able to say:

My band sits level on my back; it's snug, but not uncomfortably tight.

Does your Band mark your skin, even when you fasten it on the loosest hook setting? If so, it's too tight. Or, does it ride up when you lift your arms above your head? If choosing a tighter set of hooks doesn't help, your Band is too loose; it's not providing the 80% of your bra's support that it should.

My cups fit smoothly without spilling or space between my body and my bra.

Just glance down. If you're unable to see the entire top edge of your Cups, they're not containing you and minimizing everyday movement. (Spilling also shows up, even through your clothing; just look in the mirror.)

My straps stay put without slipping or digging.

Just like your Band, your Straps should not make their mark in your shoulders. On the other hand, you shouldn't find yourself sliding them back up over your shoulders throughout the day. Try changing the position of your Strap Adjusters or converting to cross-back styling. Then, re-check the fit of your Band and Cups; a less-than-perfect fit in those areas can lead to poor-fitting Straps.
